This is a new beginning
Now, I am in the CMCI Studio (😊). How I get here? At the beginning of the year, I started to think about what will I do when I finish my undergraduate study. I began to ask myself what I wanted to do. What do I want to do in the future and what job do I like in the future.
When I was a child, I liked drawing and paniting. I think the world is beautiful and amazing because of it has various colors. The world is colorful in my eyes and minds. I liked to mix the color into a new color.
In the 2016, I left my home, and went to the United States alone. I was confused, shy and missed my home. But I knew, I had to go, I had to grow.
In my undergraduate study, my major is Advertising in the CMCI department. In the sophomore year, I found that advertising major is more inclined to copywriting and communicate with clients. At that year, I accessed to the Technology of Art and Media. I found that I preferred design works more than copywriting works, so I decided to find some design program for my master’s programs. However, when I was looking for my master’s program, I found that many design projects required a design foundation or a portfolio. Then, I found this program on the website and met with Professor David Slayden. He introduced the program to me and I was very interested in this program. So…I come! Fortunately, I was accepted this program and started my new journey this August.
Design for my is a challenge, but I think that I am ready for meet and solve this challenge. I want to learn more knowledge and skills about Adobe world, I want to learn the 3D printing. Umm, code is also important for us. But, it is difficult for me.
I am so excited to start my design journey. I am not sure, I am good at designing. But, I want to try. And tell myself, I can! I also want to explore myself more in the program.
The future…
As for the future, to be honest, I’m not quite sure yet. Fortunately, I have a direction. I want to be a creative design in the company or to design the events (specially wedding). Wedding is beautiful and romantic in my mind. I like Brand Design, User Experience and Creative Advertising. At the end, I hope what I learn here will help me to make better design in the future. Making more interesting and meaningful adverting for the brand or the public.
I will keep going and never stop. Keep trying!
